Our Mission
The Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Bar Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to improve and facilitate the administration of justice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Our goal is to provide information and services for those interested in Veterans law. Our members enjoy a wide variety of educational and professional networking opportunities.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
The CAVC Bar Association is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our mission is exclusively supported by the annual dues paid by our members. Most of the programming, events, and educational activities produced by the CAVC Bar Association are provided free of charge and coordinated by an all-volunteer Board of Governors and committee structure. If you are not yet a member of the CAVC Bar Association, please join today. If you have not renewed your membership for the fiscal year (October through September), please renew today.

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP
$95/year
Open to attorneys and non-attorneys who are in good standing and admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) under Rule 46(a) "Practice Before the Court."
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
$95/year
Open to attorneys in good standing in the highest court of their state, but not admitted to practice before the CAVC, who have an interest in the subject matter jurisdiction of the Court and support the mission of the CAVC Bar Association.
TRIAL MEMBERSHIP
Free - Subject to Verification of the Date of Admission to Practice Under Vet. App. R. 46
This non-voting membership is available ONLY to newly admitted practitioners for the remainder of the fiscal membership year (October 1 through September 30) in which the practitioner is admitted to practice before the CAVC. A practitioner may elect to become a voting member by paying annual dues. Verification of the date of admission under Vet. App. R. 46 is required.
GROUP OR GOVERNMENT MEMBERSHIP
$75/year
Open to attorneys and non-attorneys.
This rate is available for group memberships for 5 or more members of the same organization. Members are designated by their organization, and dues are paid directly by the organization.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
$25/year
Open to students currently enrolled in an accredited law school.
COURT MEMBERSHIP
Paid by the Court
Open to employees of the Court who have been designated as eligible to participate in CAVC Bar Association activities. This is non-voting membership entitling judges and licensed attorneys employed by the CAVC to participate in bar association activities.
AUXILLARY MEMBERSHIP
$75/year
Auxiliary membership is available to anyone employed by a Regular or Associate member such as paralegals or law clerks.
